Ink and charcoal are significant tools in the study of drawing. Pen and ink is clean, technical and permanent. Charcoal is messy, hard to control, yet adaptable. While very different, both mediums greatly educate and challenge in studies of line, shape, value, negative and positive spaces. You will see figure drawings in this gallery. The human body is one of the most difficult, yet exhilarating subject matters for me, and one that I happily embrace.
